How about a critique of the key study that is used to "prove" that regret rate for gender-affirmation surgery is only 1%? :-) "Regret after Gender-affirmation Surgery: A Systematic Review and Meta-analysis of Prevalence" Bustos, 2021

Definitely second looking at studies that are trotted out all the time! Would you rather have a dead daughter or a live truck slut, sir?

This might be too obscure, but as someone who just defended, I'd love to know how long these bibliographies are, especially for dissertations. Mine was good for my field, 30 pages double-spaced. Even the non-diss ones: I'd love to know sources listed for marrying the brine shrimp. Like, is the caterer in there? :-) If this request is too in the weeds, no worries.

This is my favorite podcast btw- academic schadenfreude!

Regarding the term “biker,” it’s commonly used to also refer to cyclists by those unfamiliar with both activities.

It doesn’t help that cycling “activists” (the people who have no traffic knowledge but insist on reconfiguring the roads to be hostile to automobiles with the installation of “protected” bike lanes) reject the term “cyclist,” instead opting for people-first language (people bicycling).

They seldom call the activity cycling too, to add confusion, instead using the term “biking”

You even get this weird language nonsense:

It’s in part thanks to Roger Geller and his “categorizations” of cyclists.

“Protected” bike lane activists, long infiltrated by Wokism consider middle aged male athletic cyclists to be just as “oppressive” as “drivers,” therefore calling them or anyone who understands how to safely cycle in traffic by the term “strong and fearless.”
